Youthtown Board Member

Joining the Youthtown Board will give new Board members the opportunity to contribute to the future direction of an iconic New Zealand youth development organisation. Youthtown is a vibrant organisation, with lots of energy, talented staff and enthusiasm to do great things and make a difference in young people’s lives and their futures.
The Board wishes to appoint up to 2 Board members with an emphasis on the following competencies. We would expect successful candidates to have at least 2-3 of the first four competencies as areas of significant skills and experience, both in breadth & depth:
Youthtown values diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds. We are keen to have candidates selected by early March 2025, run an induction process through March 2025, and have the new Board members attend their first Board meeting in late March 2025.

Programme Team Member
Queenstown.
We are looking for awesome Programme Team Members to join our team delivering a variety of exciting and engaging activities to children on our Youthtown After-school & holiday programmes.
We are not babysitters here… we are a dedicated team, empowering young people to be the best they can be!
This is a permanent part-time role for 17.5 hours per week, 2.30pm to 6.00pm Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate must be available for additional hours during the school holidays
We also have multiple casual shifts available, days and hours of work vary, and shifts are rostered based on availability. If you are keen to work casual hours, please indicate this in your cover letter.
