About Us

Kia ora, my name is Aaron and I am the Programme Lead for Totara Park School. I have been in the Youth Town team since I was 14. Joining up in our Youth squad and then following to work in our awesome programmes. This has lead me to the position I am in today. I love sports and being around my friends and family. My passion has and always will be empowering young people to be the best they can be.

At our programme we are always looking to strengthen the values of our participants by encouraging positive behaviour and having fun while doing so. Our activities include learning life skills in the kitchen by cooking and baking yummy dishes. Inspire creativity in working on projects and crafting enjoyable art designs. Keeping active with fun games and sport activities and of course making fond memories each and every day with our awesome staff members.

Totara Park School have given us access to their school hall for many years now and we utilise that space all year long with our programmes. Our holiday programme has got to be the most fun time for our participants as they get to spend a whole day with us, going on day trips and enjoying our endless supply of activities onsite.

Why choose Youthtown

Our Holiday Programme is intentionally designed to create space for positive outcomes. There’s a lot going on under the surface, thanks to our Youthtown Curriculum, to ensure this happens!

From the first time you enter a Youthtown programme, you’ll be warmly greeted by our team and treated as part of our Youthtown whānau.
