About Us
Kia ora, my name is Mereana Hurae but everyone calls me Medz. If you can’t catch me at work, laughing and listening to all the kiddies stories, you will either find me on the dance floor, binge watching Matatini and Ahikroa or on my Instagram and Facebook on My New Gym Journey. I have always loved the challenge of trying to empower and inspire our Taiohi as I follow my own passions.
Here at Waipahihi we run a different variety of activities and challenges. But we mostly enjoy sports and cooking activities, as our children at Waipahihi love to keep as active as possible. We make sure to encourage the learnings of new recipes and eating all the amazingness afterwards.
Our Waipahihi Site is lucky enough to have some of the greatest things on site that not very many people know about. We have a BMX track next to the hall, a heated swimming pool, a massive field with built in sprinkler systems - amazing for summer! Basketball and netball courts, a dig zone and a playground. We cater to all strengths, skills, ages, allergies and preferences.
