Knitting Together Our Communities

Youthtown invites you, your friends and whanau to knit/crochet as many blanket squares as you can, as a way to give back to New Zealand.

15cm x 15cm squares in any colour and pattern, to represent our diversity and vibrancy!

Even though we cannot physically connect right now, we can in spirit, by building together the blocks to make tonnes of blankets for those that will really need them in the winter months.

After we all emerge from isolation and physical distance, we can reconnect as a community by sewing the squares together with our youth -  as stronger, kind and resilient young people.

Update us on FB and Insta with how many squares your whanau have made and send us photos/videos of progress!

We can’t wait to see!
