Give them fun in the sun
Youthtown camps have been a key part of our organisation for over 75 years. One of the reasons why they’re as relevant today as they were when they first started is because they have such a positive impact on the children and teenagers who have the opportunity to go.
Whether it’s a summer camp at Whananaki or a winter camp at Mt Ruapehu, camp programmes are action-packed full of fun and memorable activities.
While these camps are offered and open to everyone, the reality is many New Zealand families cannot afford to send their children on one. Although we work hard to keep the cost as low as possible, we need your help.
On average, it costs between $350 - $500 to send a kid to camp (depending on the time of the year and where it is held). If you would like to make a positive impact on a group of young people or you’d like to invest in the life of just one young New Zealander, this is a terrific way to make a real difference.
Whether you have a spare $5 or several thousand on hand, you can commit to this very worthy initiative. Every dollar is appreciated and has the potential to make the physical, social and creative experiences at camp even more special.
